Recharge. Reset. Rebuild 2026 Momentum

Research confirms that nearly 80% of people abandon their New Year’s resolutions by the end of January—but with accountability, mentorship, and purpose, the Men Impact Change community is helping young men change the narrative. On Saturday, February 21st, 2026 at 9:30 a.m., Men Impact Change will host a powerful Mentorship session designed specifically for young men ages 15–25 who are transitioning from adolescence into adulthood.

About MIC2.0 Young Men MentorPoint Breakfast Roundtable

Inspired by Frederick Douglass’ timeless truth that “it’s easier to build a boy than to repair a broken man,” the MIC2.0 MentorPoint Breakfast Roundtable is more than an event—it’s a movement addressing the crisis affecting our boys and young men.

Hosted by Men Impact Change (M.I.C.), a multicultural 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2014, the MIC2.0 MentorPoint Breakfast Roundtable brings mentors, leaders, boys and young men together for a powerful morning of purpose-driven connection and conversation.

Studies show most people lose their New Year momentum before January ends—this roundtable is designed to change that. The Young Men MentorPoint Roundtable is a powerful, interactive space for young men ages 15–25 to pause, refocus, and realign their goals for 2026. Through honest conversation, mentorship, and practical strategies, participants will recharge their mindset, reset their direction, and build momentum to stay consistent, disciplined, and purpose-driven all year long. Walk away with clarity, confidence, and a renewed commitment to your goals.

Grounded in M.I.C.’s three pillars — Purpose, Pathways, and Positive Masculinity — this experience equips participants to lead with vision, integrity, and confidence. Through open dialogue, shared stories, and intergenerational mentorship, the Roundtable creates a safe and empowering space to learn, lead, and lift one another.

Led by trusted mentors and past Men Impact Change Honorees, this experience will help young men:

  1. Clarify and recharge their goals
  2. Build emotional intelligence and self-awareness
  3. Learn practical systems for follow-through and accountability
  4. Develop habits that support long-term success throughout 2026

Here are our dynamic mentors:

Dr. Oliver T. Reid, PHD, MA, QMHP – one of our Honorees, Award-Winning Author, Publisher & Speaker

Jamaal Smith – one of our Honorees, C-Suite Technology & Strategy Leader | Growth & Transformation Expert

Shahid Muhammad - Director, DEIA at Loudoun County Public Schools

Emotional intelligence will be a central focus, helping young men strengthen self-awareness, self-regulation, decision-making, and resilience.

Now is the time for parents, guardians, and community members to bring their sons, young men, brothers, and mentees to receive meaningful 1:1 mentorship—the kind of guidance that will open doors, and change the trajectory of their lives.
